Overview
This workshop will highlight the lessons learned over the past ten years when partnering with law enforcement agencies, non-profit organizations, private businesses school districts and faith based organizations towards accomplishing one goal. The presentation will be an energetic and interactive discussion of failures and mistakes made along the way as well as successes. Attendees will leave with concrete tips on how to collaborate with organizations from a variety of disciplines to achieve success.

Tracy Miller, has been an Assistant District Attorney in Orange County for the past 21 years, is a dynamic and energetic motivational speaker. She is also a presentation and speech coach. Tracy initiated and leads the Orange County Gang Prevention Partnership (OC GRIP), the largest gang prevention program in the United States. The OC GRIP program involves over 200 law enforcement partners, 12 School Districts, faith-based groups, private businesses, non-profit organizations, 300 community partners and over 4,000 volunteers to keep kids out of gangs. Tracy started the OC GRIP program and it continues to grow because she builds extremely successful multi-disciplinary teams throughout Orange County. Tracy has prosecuted hundreds of cases and throughout her career and has specialized in sexual assault, domestic violence, and gangs.
Tracy began her career as a law clerk for prosecutors Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden on the OJ Simpson case. Tracy was an adjunct professor for Chapman University, the 2010 Ambassador of Peace Award recipient, the recipient of the Orange Police Department’s Medal of Honor and the 2013 Orange County Department of Education’s Community Service Award. Tracy is the recipient of the Raise Foundations 2017 Champions of Children award. |
